I have joined a couple of private classes with Flora Gattina in the last years. To be honest I am always a bit insecure before the class starts. But when the moment is there Flora always knows how to ease my mind. She gives me feedback in a way that I gain confidence about my act and about myself performing it.
With her skills she helps you to create something more special, and more you. Because whatever feedback she has, she always keeps space for your own identity in what you are creating.

Flora’s guidance during our private class was immensely valuable. She checked in about our goal and vision, and what we wanted to get from the class. We went through the act to identify moments that did not align with what we wanted to portray, and came up with better alternatives. We believe the hour with her gave our act an incredible boost to increase in quality.

I took a private burlesque class with headmistress Flora Gattina to polish an existing act before debuting it abroad, and it was incredibly valuable.
Flora is very direct and detail-oriented in her teaching, which made the session extremely productive. She gave thoughtful, specific feedback and helped me refine several key elements of the act to make it even “tastier.” By the end of the session, the act felt much more vibrant, and all the ambiguous or confusing moments had been eliminated.
One insight that really stayed with me was her emphasis on “playing” with costume pieces instead of simply discarding them. That perspective completely shifted how I approach costume interaction and will definitely influence how I build future acts.
I would recommend a private session with Flora to performers of any level, as long as you come with clear goals for what you want to work on. Her eye for detail and ability to sharpen an act make the session extremely worthwhile.
